The second "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie will have a better soundtrack, director James Gunn revealed.

"Originally people kept asking me, 'Don't you feel a lot of pressure to do the second movie?' and I didn't in general,...But I did feel a little pressure for the soundtrack because so many people loved it and we went platinum and all that other stuff. But I feel like the soundtrack in the second one is better. I feel like it's better, so I'm excited about it," Gunn told ETonline in an interview last Monday.

Gunn also teased that the story would be "unique."

"I'm just about to start the screenplay so it's a heavy time. I'm going to lock myself away. I'm not going to see anybody. Going to become very very stinky. Going to eat a lot of crap food and not have much of a life for a little while, while I'm working on the screenplay...But I'm really excited about it and I feel really good about the story. It really is something unique, so I feel good about it," the director added.

In an earlier interview with io9.com, Gunn said that he has already submitted his story treatment. Gunn also said that the script for the movie is "very, very far along" at 70 pages. To clear rumors, he stressed that Ronan the Accuser who was the main villain in the first movie is already gone. This, despite the report citing Lee Pace (the actor who played Ronan the Accuser) saying that he would love to come back in the sequel.

Screen Rant reported that fans will be able to know the "Guardians" in a "deeper way" in the next movie. It added that the second movie will reveal Star-Lord's father and "show that the heroes are worse than you think."

"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is set to hit theaters on May 5, 2017, Marvel announced last year. Gunn revealed in an interview with Variety that the five main characters -- Peter Quill or Star Lord, played by Chris Pratt; Gamora, played by Zoe Saldana; Groot, played by Vin Diesel; Drax the Destroyer, played by Dave Bautista; and Rocket, played by Bradley Cooper -- will be coming back in the movie, alongside other unspecified returning characters.

Would you like a third "Guardians of the Galaxy" movie? We don't know yet whether the sequel would be followed but Gunn had told  Indiewire that he already have "the basic idea" for other "Guardians of the Galaxy" stories.
