WWE Monday Night Raw was aired live on April 6 from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin Texas, unraveling possibly new chapters and the next challengers to the WWE Heavyweight crown.

Enstarz reported that Brock Lesnar was previously suspended, causing Seth Rollins to be the focus of the week. Rollins took advantage of his "Money in the Bank" briefcase to take the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31, so Roman Reigns is now on the hunt to take him down. Sheamus also had a successful return, while Rusev and Cena will continue to battle for supremacy.

Heavy.com reported that Monday Night Raw started with The Authority in the ring but without Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Kane announced that the main event will feature Randy Orton, Ryback and Roman Reigns in a triple threat match. The winner would become the number one contender against Rollins at Extreme Rules. Also, Orton, Ryback and Reigns had to fight in singles matches that night before the main event.

Kane battled Orton first, but despite the former's attempts to weaken him, was able to overcome the Big Red Machine. Rollins fought Neville, which was unique because Rollins was NXT's first champion while Neville was NXT's longest-reigning champ. In the end, Rollins won via his signature move, the Curb Stomp.

John Cena vowed that he will continue defending the United States Championship once a week as long as he holds the title. Cena's opponent was Stardust, which he defeated via Attitude Adjustment. Cena expects Rusev to challenge him again at Extreme Rules.

Based on the same report by Heavy.com, Luke Harper and Ryback fought with the latter winning. Xavier Woods and Big E also battled Sin Cara and Kalisto. New Day defeated the Lucha Dragons in cheating fashion. Roman Reigns beat the Big Show. Sheamus beat Mark Henry. Sheamus will most likely face Ziggler at Extreme Rules. Daniel Bryan is also set to fight Bad News Barrett for the Intercontinental Championship.

During the main event, Orton, Ryback and Reigns was in good form, but were obviously tired from their previous singles matches. Randy Orton emerged the victor by defeating Ryback via RKO, based on a report by WrestlingInc. Orton elevated to become the top contender against Seth Rollins at Extreme Rules. However, as soon as Orton was declared the winner, Rollins entered the ring and Curb Stomped his next challenger.

Extreme Rules is set to happen on April 26, 2015 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
