Samsung just released a teaser video to promote its awaited and soon to be released (May 3) Galaxy S3 smartphone.

If anyone plans to watch it for the first time, they should be strongly advised that it is a good way to waste one minute and three seconds.

The video contains no glimpse or hint of what the phone may look like but far worse than that, promotional videos are intended to inspire or persuade people to buy products, Samsung's video, however, leaves one scratching his head saying "Why did I watch this?."

The video does start out with an aurora-borealis but once the camera zooms out into space, from there on it's just a continuous zooming out from a galaxy, to view more galaxies to zoom out to finally view the universe with even more galaxies.

Maybe Samsung wants people to remember the name of their soon-to-be release smartphone, the Galaxy?

On the positive side, the video does contain cool graphics of the Earth, space and....galaxies.

For people who insist, the video is displayed below.

For people who want to proceed to the Galaxy S3's specs, please proceed:

The Galaxy S3's specifications include a 4.6-inch HD display with a 720 x 1184 pixel resolution, a quad-core 1.4 GHz processor running the Ice Cream Sandwich OS in addition to 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera and 16GB of microSD storage capacity.

Samsung plans to unveil the device in the city of London at an event called "Samsung Mobile UnPacked 2012."
