Following the end of the giant NBA trade on February 19, NBA 2K15 made several updates to reflect the transfers.

Some of the notable trades featured Kevin Garnett returning to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Dragic brothers moving to the Miami Heat and former Rookie of the Year Michael Carter-Williams traded to the Milwaukee Bucks. Steve Blake had his jersey number changed from No. 25 to No. 5 in honor of Jerome Kersey, who passed away on February 18. The recent trade had so many major changes that an update to the game's team lineup had to happen -- and fast.

2K Sports was quick to make the updates available for gamers, with the new roster adjustments released less than one day after the 2015 NBA trade deadline. Game Informer reported that 2K did an excellent job, compared to EA Sports and its supposed updates on its NHL franchise game.

NBA 2K15 gamers will be able to see the players in their new uniforms as soon as they download the latest update. Some of the last-minute trades that occurred were described as shocking and can change the flow of the league in the remainder of the season. Gamers were particularly excited to play the Dragic brothers with the rest of the Heat players. Although Garnett is not the player of old, his presence with the young bloods of the Wolves will definitely make an impact. The game is available on the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles.
