It has been revealed in a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming "Mortal Kombat 10" that Reptile will be coming back in the game with some new looks and moves. Watch it here:

Reptile, one of the few original cast of the "Mortal Kombat" is seen in the video fighting against Kung Lao. At first, Kung Lao tries to prevent any battles with Reptile saying that he has no quarrels with him. But Reptile even ignites the fight responding, "I will tear your flesh!" Kung Lao starts to prep for battle while saying that he now has to fight him. A battle between the two then ensued.

Have you noticed some changes in the Reptile's looks? Cinema Blend says he now looks "more savage and grotesque" with his coarser skin and armor made out of bones. One of his weapons, his venom, remains. It can easily spit or spray it on his opponent at any time. You definitely saw it on the last part of the clip where Reptile finished Kung Lao with a spray of his dangerous venom, melting the latter's skin. Also notice Reptile's incredible speed, stealth ability, and X-ray attack. It is surely a winning combination, allowing Reptile to win over Kung Lao.

Early this month, we saw major protagonist Kung Lao returning in the new "Mortal Kombat" franchise. According to Air Herald, it was revealed by Finnish magazine Pelaaja that a much older Kung Lao will indeed return in "Mortal Kombat X." It also noted that that the new installment has been set 25 years in the future after the previous installment.

Other cast members confirmed for the new installment include Goro, Raiden, Scorpion, Sub Zero, Kano, and Quan Chi. Gamespot said that other characters confirmed to be added in the new installment are D'Vorah, Ferra/Torr, Cassie Cage, and Kotal Kahn.

As for Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage, iDigital Times said that the two may also possibly make it to the "Mortal Kombat 10," citing NetherRealms president Ed Boon's statement. The report also said that Freddy Krueger will be included.

Boon was also cited by Cinema Blend saying that another fighter will be confirmed to be in the game this Thursday. Watch out for the revelation at Twitch

Game Spot added that there is a new Factions mode in the game. This allows players to choose one out of five factions to join. Each of the faction of course has different sets of characters. Every win and challenges will be added to the faction's war points.

The game is set to arrive on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on April 14.
