The highly anticipated downloadable content (DLC) "Grand Theft 5: Online Heists" is delayed once again.

International Business Times reported that "Grand Theft Auto 5" for PC may not be available to gamers until March 2015. The DLC "Heists" may not be available online for a few months further too.

Initially scheduled to release in the spring, then at the end of 2014, "Grand Theft Auto 5" and "Heists" were reset to launch early in 2015. The PC version of "GTA 5" was scheduled to release on January 27 but talks circulated that there might be another delay after the Steam listing release date was changed from the 27th to "early 2015".

On Rockstar forums, GTA developer Rockstar Games announced that the PC version will indeed release on January 27. Rockstar posted, "'GTA V' will be coming to PC on Jan. 27. We have not announced any changes to this date at this time."

DomisLive, a "GTA 5" tipster, however, reported that gamers might not find "Heists" in online mode until the end of the first quarter 2015. According to DomisLive, the release date presented in the Steam listing was unclear for a reason and even the PC release may not happen on January 27. Even though the game developer gave its promise, the fact that the listing does not have a certain date can be bound to disappoint many fans.

On January 12, Rockstar announced on their Newswire:

"For those of you asking about other upcoming GTA Online updates, we have lots more in store coming your way soon. We know many fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the Online Heists that we had planned to release for you this spring, and they are taking more time to create than originally anticipated.

We are very sorry for the delay, and are working hard to bring them to you as soon as we can. Please know that we are focused as always on making the best possible content for you to play and we are thankful to all of you for your patience, understanding and support. Stay tuned for more information on that as well as lots of other ongoing content updates, enhancements and additions to the world of GTA Online that are on the way."

Cinema Blend reported that it is sensible for Rockstar to make sure that the DLC is as polished as possible so as not to disappoint fans. Rockstar has been providing teasers in the past months. After leaked source code information further revealed a few bits to expect in the new game, it is only fair that the feature meets fans' expectations.
