Microsoft's biggest event of the fall season is Halo 4, but they are also hugely involved in the major national event this fall: the fall event. And in order to take advantage of the both, the company has decided to integrate them.

Microsoft is hosting a real-time coverage of the presidential debates on October 3rd, 11th, 16th, and 22nd from 9 to 10:30 PM EST. They know that they have some stiff competition from other networks to garner viewers, but have added an incentive to get people to watch the debates through Xbox Live. If a viewer watches at least 30 minutes of three of the four debates, MJicrosoft will reward him or her with a golden Halo 4 Warrior Armor for their Xbox Live Avatar.

If the conditions are fulfilled by gamers, an email will be sent to their accounts with a download code near November 1.

Gamers can access the live streams through the Xbox Live dashboard where a special section is devoted to the Presidential Debate. The application was introduced in August prior to the Democratic and Republican Conventions. Microsoft is collaborating with NBC News, Rock the Vote, YouGo, and Face the Facts USA to update the content on the application.
