Was the trailer of the upcoming movie "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" leaked online?

It seems that the leaked video trailer cannot be seen on YouTube, Movie Pilot said. However, it noted that several people have claimed they have seen the trailer on 4chan, a "simple image-based bulletin board where anyone can post comments and share images."

Movie Pilot gives a glimpse of what has been seen in the leaked trailer. It said that the video starts with a scene from "Man of Steel," showing the destruction that took place in the metropolis. It noted that it was Batman or Bruce Wayne, which is played by Ben Affleck, who narrates the first part. He then airs his doubts on the intentions of Superman, played by Henry Cavill.

Batman says, "The world has changed with the arrival of the Kryptonians," and poses the question, "Is Superman here to save us...or destroy us? I am going to find out," as reported by Headlines and Global News.

It is unknown how long the alleged leaked trailer is but Headlines and Global News said that the teaser pretty much ends there. After Ben Affleck's voice, the logo of the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie appears on the screen and culminates.

Headlines and Global News, citing batman-on-film.com, said that the new film will have a "very anti-Superman" theme. It even noted that there will be people marching and protesting against Superman in the film.

Movie Pilot's Austin Saisi says that the leaked trailer might be legit but noted that it is good that Warner Bros. was able to stop it from going viral. The report added that the official trailer is expected to be released around March next year.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit the theaters on March 25, 2016.

Earlier, we saw several photos which revealed that the filming of the "Batman vs. Superman" movie has finally been finished.

On December 10, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" director Zack Snyder posted a photo on Twitter showing a road along a savanna in New Mexico. It was captioned with, "Just wrapped an amazing few weeks filming in New Mexico! Awesome crew+locations! Great experience. Thanks New Mexico!"

The New Mexico Film Office confirmed to Albuquerque Journal that a part of the film was really shot there. The report added that the film roughly spent $13 million in New Mexico alone. The film also hired at least 200 New Mexico crew members during their production.

Cinematographer Larry Fong also posted on Instagram a photo of a snowy mountain with an unknown location. He captioned it, "Farewell to the #landofenchantment." Fong also posted a teaser video on Instagram which he captioned, "That's a wrap."

Aside from Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, the movie cast list also includes Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Gal Gadot, Holly Hunter, Jason Momoa, Jeremy Irons, Jesse Eisenberg, Laurence Fishburne, and Ray Fisher, Screen Rant said. Amy Adams will play the role of Lois Lane while Jason Momoa will be Arthur Curry and Aquaman. Jesse Eisenberg will play the role of Lex Luthor. The movie is written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer.
