Rumors were swirling on Thursday about Monica Lewinsky's intentions on writing a tell-all book on her affairs with Bill Clinton, but according to HuffPost these rumors are untrue.

"Several publishers would love her to tell all, but she has no intention of doing so," a friend of Lewinsky's told HuffPost. "She has been through enough already and all this happened fourteen years ago. She has put it behind her and moved on with her life."

Lewinsky has already helped author Andrew Morton pen the book "Monica's Story" that details her affairs with Clinton and made a hefty sum of money doing so.

"She has nothing new to add to this painful chapter in her life," another friend told HuffPost. "It's time we all moved on."

Jokes about the rumors of the tell-all book raged in the twitterverse today.

"Monica Lewinsky is shopping a book to publishers. No word on the content, but the jacket will be Scotch-guarded," Joan Rivers tweeted.

Iris Blasi, Marketing Manager at Open Road Media tweeted "Monica Lewinsky is shopping her book to publishers...my suggested title: 'Blow by Blow: The Lewinsky Story'."

Ron Scanlon, a former police detective from Toledo, Ohio tweeted "Breaking news. Monica Lewinsky is voting Republican. The Democrats left a bad taste in her mouth."

will. i.m. becile tweeted "Monica Lewinsky will reveal lots of embarrassing stuff about Clinton in her book. Ironically, Bill will find it hard to swallow."

Comic Karen Bergreen of New York tweeted "Monica Lewinsky and her agent have decided that her should be a pop-up book."

So, Latinos Post readers, was the HuffPost story that Lewinsky's book deal was a rumor a way for Monica to gracefully bow out after hearing what a joke the general public thought of the tell-all bid? Or is it possible that Monica never really shopped the idea to any publishers in the 1st place? Tell us what you think.
