With just a few months from the release of the next Lord of the Rings Film "The Hobbit; An Unexpected Journey" Warner Brothers has released yet another trailer raise the hype and anticipation.

The new trailer presents viewers with a few new characters and spectacles not seen in prior previews. The first of these is Radagast the Brown who is a dark wizard who is hinted as being a "dark power" by Gandalf. He never actually appears in the novel, but is part of a parallel storyline in the Appendix of Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings appendix." His story likely does not take center stage in this film but will have plenty of room to grow in the other two films of this new trilogy.

The trailer also showcases Wargs which are giant wolves that Bilbo Baggins and the dwarves must fend off. They are a major component of the film's final climax, but are going to get some screen time in this film.

Other villains showcased in this trailer include Goblins and Stone Giants. Stone giants are only briefly mentioned in the novel, but its seems that they will get some top notch action in this film. Meanwhile, the Goblins are slated for a big battle in the underground fortress. Only one goblin is shown battling Bilbo Baggins during one part of the trailer, but it is only a passing reference.

But the most intriguing and extended part of the trailer features one of the most iconic moments in the entire novel and Lord of the Rings lore: the "Riddles in the Dark." In a scene briefly glimpsed in the trailer, Gollum makes Bilbo promise that if he loses the riddles, he will be eaten alive. It seems to have a comic air that is right in line with the novel.

The Film releases on November 28, 2012 and is the first of a new Lord of the Rings trilogy.
