Microsoft has again unveiled a video advertisement criticizing Apple's Siri.

The video, uploaded on YouTube on November 21, already has over 1.6 million views and over 2,000 likes.

Microsoft also shared the new video on Twitter saying, "VIDEO: What's the big idea? Say hello to #Cortana (and goodbye to #Siri) https://spr.ly/6018sI36."

The video is part of the company's campaign for its new device, the Lumia 830. Like most Lumia devices, the Lumia 830 also gets Cortana as its digital assistant.

According to Microsoft, Cortana is the "world's most personal smartphone assistant" that will "help people's day go smoothly" and "keep them on top of all the things they care about."

"With the power of Bing behind her, Cortana gets to know you and looks out for you. She'll keep track of things that interest you, make helpful suggestions, remind you of meetings and appointments and help you stay closer to the people who matter most," it added.

Microsoft said that Cortana is just like the usual personal assistant who takes note of everything in her notebook. She also asks questions and gives you suggestions on what to do.

She is also just "like a real person who has your back," it added. Microsoft boasted that she will do everything to make you on top of everything. She can alert you about flight delays, remind you to buy something from the store, and even tell you when is the best time to leave for work especially during traffic and busy days.

Cortana can also remind you to greet your loved ones or friends during their birthdays or during other special days.

With her great personality, Cortana can also make you smile, Microsoft claims.

"She can chat with you like a real person, is funnier than most of your friends and will root for your favorite team with you. Go ahead, try to stump her, just be ready for what she might say!" it said.

Microsoft said Cortana is only available on phones with Windows Phone 8.1. Check out the details here. It can also be purchased in particular countries and with limited languages. Check this out for more details.

In September, Nokia also released a video about Cortana. Check it out here.
