With the November price drop of Xbox One to $349, Microsoft's latest gaming console is officially cheaper by $50 compared with Sony's PlayStation 4.

There was no knee-jerk reaction from Sony to follow Microsoft's price cut, after all, PS4 has been outselling Xbox One since January 2014, according to a Forbes report of July 18, 2014.

Now, it is fast turning out that Sony is just waiting for the perfect time to put another leg up on Microsoft, practically pulling the rug from under the Xbox One with its amazing PS4 special deals this month, reports GottaBe Mobile.

"November is a perfect time to buy the PS4 thanks to a collection of PS4 deals that can drop the price to $75 or stack on over $100 in added game value, particularly from games that fans love and enjoy," the site said.

GottaBe Mobile said that Sony is not offering any price cut on PS4 until Black Friday but a number of its retailers have made special bundle offers that include fantastic savings on the PS4.

Gamers can actually get a brand new PS4 gaming console for as low as $275 if they would trade in their used 20GB (or greater) PS3 or 250GB Xbox 360 (or greater) to GameStop for $125, reports GottaBe Mobile.

They can then use the earned $125 credit to purchase a brand new PS4 also from Gamestop by adding $275.

Or for those gamers who do not have a console to trade in, GottaBe Mobile said they can opt to buy slightly used 500GB PS4 over at CowBoom for only $265.99.

It would be a different story come 6 pm of November 27 as the PS4 Black Friday deals roll out in various US retailers.

Thus far, Dell has made the best prospect by planning to offer the PS4 with a $50 to $60 price cut as well bundling the console with high-profile video games "GTA 5" and "The Last of Us Remastered" for only $399, a clear savings of $120, notes GottaBe Mobile.

In an October 15 report, Dealnews has already predicted the price of PS4 going down to $340 on Thanksgiving.

"Unlike the Xbox One, which will see lots of bundle deals (some that are even worth your time), the majority of deals on the PlayStation 4 will be for the console alone. Look for this next-gen system to drop 15% off and go for $340 during Black Friday," the site said.

GottaBe Mobile enthused that there would likely be more Black Friday deals coming along the way and unless they do something early with the biggest PS4 Black Friday deals, they may go home empty-handed in the end.
