Previously, Microsoft offered Xbox gamers the video game "Chariot" for free for the month of October 2014. Fans are hoping that the company will stay true to its promise to release two free games each month.

In a report by Christian Today, Microsoft has not yet given information about the free games to release in November 2014. Usually, the company provides an updated list for Xbox Live with Gold between the 25th and 28th day of each month. Gamers expect that there will be discounts and a couple of free games together with the recent features introduced by Microsoft.

In a report by Breathecast.com, there were talks that a game list would be available featuring any of the following: "Grand Theft Auto 4", "Mortal Kombat Arcade", "King Kong: The Movie Game", "Resident Evil: Revelations", "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed", "Wars: The Force", "The Walking Dead - A Telltale Games Series", "Brink", "Mirrors Edge" and "Borderlands".

Other games like "Halo: The Master Chief Collection", "Grand Theft Auto V", "Rabbids Invasion", "The Wolf Among Us", "Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham", "Pro Evolution Soccer 2015", "Shape Up", "Monopoly: Family Fun Pack", "Rocksmith 2014 Edition", "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare", "Minecraft: Xbox One Edition", "Far Cry 4", "WWE 2K15", "Never Alone" and "Assassin's Creed Unity" are also expected to be released in November 2014, writes Metacritic.

In the same Breathecast report, Microsoft announced the big updates for Xbox One users in the coming month of November but there is no update on the list of free games. Some of the things to expect include being able to customize the background of the Xbox One interface. Subscribers can choose their individual achievement art or their color of choice to be their background.

It will be the first time that registered accounts on the Xbox One have the privilege of using customized backgrounds. Also, Xbox Live Gold Members can expect their profiles to be updated. In a report by Hallels.com, subscribers can share their location and bios, which will be included in their profile. Xbox One SmartGlass will be needed to view other users' profiles and to go to their showcase items.

Breathecast also reported that although discounts will be provided for titles like "Forza Motorsport 5 Car Pass" and "Zombie Driver: Ultimate Edition" to subscribers of Xbox Games With Gold, others were concerned that they might be taxed heavily and merely get a couple of arcade games in November.
