Famous rapper Pitbull will once again host this year's American Music Awards.

"Pitbull is going global again! Mr. Worldwide is set to host the AMAs on November 23rd at 8pm ET on ABC! Get ready to have some fun," a post on the rapper's website www.pitbullmusic.com said on Monday.

He is also set to perform at the event which will be held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. It will also be aired live on ABC, Dick Clark Productions confirmed, as reported by Time magazine.

Meanwhile, a news report published by The Hollywood Reporter quoted the famous rapper saying "World, who would have thought Pitbull hosting the AMAs two years in a row."

The statement added, "The harder I work, the luckier I get. Thank you ABC and dick clark productions for the amazing opportunity - more than anything, let's get ready to have fun. Dale!"
