Despite being a phenomenal hit, Disney does not seem to think that a sequel for 2013's animation, "Frozen" is top priority. The movie, which garnered over $1.2 billion in sales, is considered to be one of the most successful animations that Disney has ever made.

The success, however, did not guarantee a sequel from the studio, but it has been confirmed that there will be a follow-up, in the form of an animated short.

In a report by Variety, "Frozen Fever" will be directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, to be produced by Peter Del Vecho.

"In the short, it's Anna's birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa's icy powers may put more than just the party at risk. Olaf, the snowman, also will make an appearance in the toon," Variety added.

There is no news as to Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel's involvement in the next project, however, because Bell, who gives the voice of Anna, is pregnant and excited about having another child in the house, while Menzel, who is the voice of Elsa, is busy recording.

Bell has been enjoying her second pregnancy. In an interview with Us Weekly, she shared her pregnancy diet and how she's been keeping in shape. She said she eats "Pretty much what I normally eat, which is fairly healthy, but I give in a lot more to cravings. It occurs to me more often how delicious Kettle chips are when I'm pregnant. I give into my cravings more often because if I'm not going to do it now, when will I do it?"

She added, "I've been more active this pregnancy I think because I chase around a toddler. I really benefited from applying prenatal yoga."

Meanwhile, according to The Daily Mail, Menzel is getting an early start of the holiday season by dropping a Christmas album. A preview, released last Tuesday showed the 43-year-old songstress with Michael Buble in their own rendition of "Baby, It's Cold Outside."

Idina may be the snow queen in "Frozen", but the phenomenal hit still has more in store. Apparently, the film has spawned a new Broadway show and four novels as well. No news updates on the Broadway show yet, but the two of the four novels already has titles. One will be called "Anna and Elsa: All Hail the Queen," and the other, "Anna and Elsa: Memory and Magic."
