Just because happy endings don't usually happen in "The Vampire Diaries" does not mean that the cast can't, either. Candice Accola recently tied the knot to her own hottie, and he may not be the original vampire, Klaus. But he's a rock star, and that's all there is to it.

The 27-year-old actress married her fiancé, Joe King of The Fray, in New Orleans last October 18, and the event is as TVD as it could get.

According to Us Weekly, Candice took a break from filming to say "I do" to her man, in the presence of her TVD family.

Co-stars Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Kat Graham, Michael Trevino, and even show creator, Julie Plec attended the affair.

One cast member was absent though, but Ian Somerhalder posted a sweet Instagram message for the bride and groom, saying, "Candace and Joe- my brother, my sister. What a magical day this is for both of you. From the eye of the storm I am still with you in spirit! I am missing my home state of Louisiana and my city, the great city of New Orleans. Sending you so much love from my shoot in ATL- i'm working hard & I wish I could be there physically, but we have the rest of our lives to celebrate. I love you guys! So. Much."

But what of the wedding itself?

Candice wore a strapless lace Monique Luhillier gown with detailed embroidery and a gorgeous tulle to go with her lace veil, The Daily Mail noted.

The reception took place at an outdoor setting in New Orleans, with chandeliers, trees, and overhanging branches that created a romantic air for the newlyweds and their intimate party.

The newlywed couple met back in 2011, and in May 2013, Joe popped the question to the actress in Florence, Italy, which she was quick to share with her followers.

The pair seems all loved up and you can't blame them for putting it up all over on their Instagram pages.

Candice posted a photo of herself and Joe sharing an intimate kiss in the French Quarter, surrounded by their elated guests. She captioned, "Officially Mr. and Mrs. King! Best night ever!"

Joe did not shy away from love declarations either, with a post of the pair slow dancing at their reception as guests looked on. He wrote, "My wife, she makes me wanna dance."

Congratulations to the lovely couple.
