After Adidas released the latest Crazy Light basketball shoes fronted by Damian Lillard of the Portland Trailblazers, another signature pair was recently introduced by the company, with John Wall's name on it.

The shoes will be released on October 31 in two colorways: black and grey. More colorways are expected to be available in the coming months. The basketball sneakers will be available at $115 while the apparel will cost between $25 and $60.

Compared to the Crazy Light series, John Wall of the Washington Wizards actually had the shoes named after him. The Adidas J Wall 1 was presented on September 29, 2014, which features Wall's new logo and initials. On the tongue and just above the rear midsole, the signature initials "JW" appear. On the outsoles, one pair will have the letters "WA" while the other will have "LL" to form his name. According to CBS Sports, the J crosses over the W, which was inspired by Wall's quickness and crossover moves on the court. Crossing over pays tribute to his father who died when John was just nine years old.

The J Wall 1 features full length adiprene+ cushioning in the midsole so players get better responsiveness and comfort, CBS Sports added. The heel-to-toe transition is also enhanced, which makes the shoes ideal for fast and explosive guards like Wall. There is also a full-length lateral FITFRAME which provides more control over the surface when making quick cuts. The upper has air mesh textile with rip-stop overlays for breathability and durability.

Wall said about the shoes, in the CBS Sports report: "Coming off my best season in the NBA and now launching the J Wall 1 that has my own logo is an incredible feeling. I feel really blessed to have my own signature line and I think my fans and basketball players are going to love playing in this shoe. It's also a shoe with great colors and materials that you can dress up off the court which is really important to me."

In a report by Dimemag.com, Chris Grancio, general manager of Adidas basketball said, "John's exciting game combined with his confident, fresh style off the court resonates with fans across the world and is what made us want to collaborate with him on a signature line. John's had great success on the court but it takes more than just All-Star appearances to get your name on a shoe."

The shoes come with other signature products by Adidas, which will all feature the new John Wall logo. Wall is the third NBA star with a signature basketball shoe, after Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls and Dwight Howard of the Houston Rockets.
