Justin Bieber made the news once again, no thanks to his recent, um, show, at this year's Fashion Rocks.

On Tuesday in Brooklyn, New York, the 20-year-old singer was booed when he appeared on stage with leggy model Lara Stone to introduce Rita Ora, who is set to perform at the event, CNN reported.

Bieber did not get the appreciation a superstar usually gets in an appearance, as he received several jeers, apart from cheers from the crowd. His next move seemed to have caught everyone offguard, as he began to tell Stone that he does not feel comfortable unless he is in his "Calvins."

For the uninitiated, Bieber is referring to the underwear line of fashion house, Calvin Klein, which famously dresses stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lawrence. Bieber immediately strips down to his black underwear with red band that read off the fashion house name, and posed for the cameras.

E! said that the singer then addressed the crowd, "Is that better?"

Check out the video below:

Later after the event, Biebs tweeted about the incident, which read, "Good times tonight. Thanks for having me tonight #FashionRocks. #mycalvins :)"

He also reasoned that his decision to strip live was obviously a joke. The tweet read, "Grandma always said kill 'em with kindness...and then strip on live national tv. Lol."

On the other hand, Rolling Stone is curious as to whether Justin's impromptu act is really unplanned. Considering the fact that it occured at an event that celebrated fashion, pundits immediately jumped to the conclusion that maybe Bieber's act was merely a promotional opportunity he needed to do for the fashion house. Today attempted to reach Calvin Klein to confirm this allegation, but the fashion house has yet to respond.

However, Justin has more things to worry about now than dealing with the allegations that he is using the act to promote his favorite clothing brand. Earlier this month, Rolling Stone recalled that the singer was charged with dangerous driving and assault after he collided with another vehicle in Ontario. It was reported that Bieber got involved in a physical altercation following the crash.

On Tuesday, his lawyer, Brian Greenspan, issued a statement that also confirmed reports of him getting back together with his on-and-off girlfriend Selena Gomez. It read, "Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's peaceful retreat in Stratford this weekend was unfortunately disrupted by the unwelcome presence of the paparazzi. This has regrettably resulted in charges of dangerous driving and assault. Mr. Bieber and Ms. Gomez have fully cooperated in the police investigation. We are hopeful that this matter will be quickly resolved."
