NBA 2K15 is set to feature more stars with a rating of 90 or higher.

Game creator 2K Sports said that they have been revealing a few individual player ratings to help contain the excitement of fans towards the video game's official launch on October 7, 2014.

Previously, fans expected that there would only be four players who would garner an overall rating of at least 90 in the new game, two of which includes cover star Kevin Durant and LeBron James. Durant was revealed to have a rating of 95. In a report by Pounding The Rock, ratings of defending champions, San Antonio Spurs, leaked online, revealing that one of them successfully made the exclusive list. The surprise is, superstar point guard Tony Parker is not the guy.

Pounding The Rock adds that Tim Duncan is the highest rated in the team with an overall rating of 90. In NBA 2K14, he was 87. Even though his stats and playing minutes may have decreased in the past few seasons, it is clear that the 38-year-old veteran is still one of the most powerful forwards in the game, leading the Spurs to its fifth NBA championship title and averaging double-doubles on a regular basis. In 29.2 minutes of play, the power forward clocked in 15.1 points and 9.7 rebounds per game.

Although it is arguable that he is among the top four best NBA players today, his increased rating will definitely help boost the overall efficiency of the San Antonio Spurs in NBA 2K15, making it one of the strongest teams to play, the report added. The 90 rating may also be a tribute to Duncan's longevity in the sport and his future Hall of Fame status.

Tony Parker is the second highest rated in the San Antonio Spurs with 88, Pounding The Rock notes. NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard garnered an overall rating of 85, followed by Manu Ginobili with 83. Danny Green and Boris Diaw are 78, Tiago Splitter and Patty Mills are 77, Marco Bellinelli is 75, Matt Bonner and Cory Joseph are 73 and Austin Daye and Jeff Ayres are 67.

Operation Sports writes that 2K Sports is making the final adjustments to the game as it prepares for the big release. Ronnie2K shared that the new courts for the San Antonio Spurs, Atlanta Hawks, Washington Wizards, Sacramento Kings and Toronto Raptors are already set and will be seen upon the release. The game creator promised better visuals, audio and gameplay.
