Ahead of the premiere of the final season of "Sons of Anarchy," fans of the show are left with a scene that could tip over whatever balance the small town of Charming has. Gemma (Katey Sagal) drove a carving fork repeatedly into the skull of Tara (Maggie Siff). Jax (Charlie Hunnam) finds his wife in a gory state, and Slate said that from his grief spells the entire plot of Season 7 -- Revenge.

This is exactly what Jax is gunning for in the season premiere of the biker gang series on September 9. Entertainment Weekly said that the opening montage started with Jax beating a fellow inmate at a county, presumably to get Aryan Brotherhood shot, called named Ron Tully (Marilyn Manson), to forge an alliance. What Tully fails to know is that Jax's acts were actually calculated, and he simply had turned to his dark nature in order to drive himself to find out who really killed his wife.

Meanwhile, Zap2It said that Juice (Theo Rossi) is fast becoming the most dangerous character on the show apart from Jax, considering that he alone knows Gemma's secret, and could very well be the air that could flame the already brewing fire. Gemma, who initially is the master con artist in the family, appears to be weakened by her biggest secret, and tries to assure Juice that her not confessing to Tara's murder was good for the family. Moreover, as Unser (Dayton Collie) closes in on Juice, one could foresee that Juice has to reveal Gemma's secret to ensure his survival.

As the episode progresses, Gemma appears to be ready to execute her plan to put the blame on the Chinese. But it was only a matter of time, too, that Jax will discover the real truth, Zap2It said. In what appears to be an extraordinary move for Jax, he invited the Chinese and the Mayans, his newly-formed allies, to the re-christened porn studio for his free-from-jail party. However, we see Jax later on capturing the man he thought to be responsible for Tara's death, and slowly torture him in the same kitchen where he found Tara death.

Although fans would wish that Jax would eventually stop the manhunt for his wife's killer, it appears that his brutal actions had put things in motion and something that SAMCRO might regret in the long run. As Jax addresses the club's members to see whether the gang does trust him or not, it is clear that our protagonist would get the backing he needs despite making bad choices like his father has done, EW wrote.

Chibs said after Jax's speech, "We're all in, brother. We love you. We trust you. Tell us what you need."
