It seems that the Carters' emotional appearance at the recent MTV Video Music Awards had a diminishing effect on the divorce rumors that have been hounding the family around for months. Power couple Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z were recently spotted at the Budweiser Made in America festival in Los Angeles on Sunday, People.com said.

The couple looked relaxed and happy while they enjoyed the festival's performances that night. People.com observed that Beyonce debuted her new bob and wore a black drop top and a mini-skirt. Her husband mogul also wore black, but topped his outfit with a black fedora. There were moments the two became very intimate, with Beyonce resting in her husband's arms while enjoying the festivities. Jay-Z, who was at the festival as an organizer, planted a kiss on his wife's head.

Recently, the Carters showed a glimpse of their private lives when they made headlines at the VMAs. People said that following Beyonce's jaw-dropping 15-minute performance of her self-titled album, Jay-Z and and their two-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, who was adorable all on her own at the event, presented the MTV Vanguard award to Queen Bey.

Beyonce became emotional and cried openly as she ran to her family, appearing overwhelmed.

"Thank you. I have nothing to say, but I'm thrilled with so much gratitude. I just thank God for this moment. I love y'all so much. My beloved, I love you. My fans, I love you. MTV, I love you. Good night!" She said to the audience then.

On the other hand, Beyonce's estranged dad, Mathew Knowles, went on record at a radio station and claimed that there really is no impending split between Jay-Z and Beyonce.

He told "Roula and Ryan" Houston radio show on 104.1 KRBE earlier this week that the "divorce" rumors were just the couple's scheme to generate more ticket sales for their "On the Run" tour, New York Daily News said.

"It's called a Jedi mind trick. The Jedi mind trick fools you a lot of times."

When he was asked about the blowout between Jay-Z and his other daughter, Solange, at the elevator at a Met Gala afterparty, Mathew insisted, "All I know is the Jedi mind trick. Everyone's talking about it. Ticket sales went up. Solange's album sales went up 200 percent!"
