Nike's Jordan Brand is expected to make headlines this September with the release of several shoes that will surely get a lot of attention on the sneaker market.

The Air Jordan XX9, Jordan Brand's flagship model this year, will finally hit the market this weekend in two excellent-looking colorways -- the "Gym Red" and "Team Orange" editions, which will hit shelves on Saturday. Both editions will be sold at $225 per pair.

The Air Jordan XX9 "Gym Red" features a black-based upper part with elephant print throughout the shoe combined with gym red linings and white Jumpman logos.

The Air Jordan XX9 "Team Orange" also features a black-based upper that sits on an elephant-print midsole and full icy blue translucent outsole. Two of the striking features of this edition are the oversized Jumpman logo on the side panel and "23" print on the tongue.

According to Nike, the 29th iteration of the Air Jordan series was inspired by innovative features of previous editions, such as the Air Jordan XX8's Flight Plate, to produce one of the best shoes in Jordan Brand's history.

The 29th Air Jordan sneaker boasts two of Nike's revolutionary technologies -- the much-improved Flight Plate and a performance woven upper part, which is a first for any shoe on the sneaker market.

"The Air Jordan XX9 features the world's first performance-woven upper," Nike said in a statement. "Finding inspiration in Italy, the home of some of the world's greatest craftsmen, the Jordan design team created an upper that provides structure, support, interior comfort and exterior abrasion resistance. Using state-of-the-art weaving machines, the team learned they could provide all four major elements of the shoe in a single layer of material."

Aside from their newest signature model, Jordan Brand will also release the highly anticipated colorway of the Air Jordan 14 Retro -- the Challenge Red/Vibrant Yellow-Anthracite-Black colorway.

The new Air Jordan 14 Retro, which is dubbed as the "Ferrari" and "Challenged Red" version of the shoe, will also hit the market on Saturday, worldwide. The Ferrari-inspired shoe will be available for $200 per pair.

The Air Jordan 6 Retro GS "Iron Purple" will also come out alongside the Air Jordan XX9 and Air Jordan 14 retro on Saturday.

According to Solecollector, this edition, which is listed as the Iron Purple/Bleached Turquoise-Black colorway of the shoe, will sell at $120 per pair for gradeschool sizes.
