The new Grand Theft Auto or GTA 5 Online Heists DLC is expected to be released in a few weeks. A number of gamers revealed that the new feature in the Independence Day DLC was available during the first week of July 2014 from Rockstar, the game developer.

Early in July, Rockstar announced that GTA 5 Online Heists will have a delayed release date. The official GTA V game was released almost one year ago. Several gamers were already looking forward to updates since then. There were 10 new online jobs announced on July 16. There will also be options in the "I'm Not a Hipster DLC". Some of the options include 80s Turf War, Panto-monium Microcircuit, DubstaWarz among others.

According to the The Epoch Times, Rockstar stated, "With some spectacular jobs released in this batch, we're really looking forward to playing them in upcoming Crew Battles and on our special guest streams."

One gamer shared codes on the GTA forums which may be linked to Heists. The names of the codes include, "EARNINGS_HEISTS_FINALE_FIRST_PLAY_CASH_REWARD" and "RP_HEISTS_HEIST_FAIL_RP_TIME_PERIOD_1". The string were posted by the user and said that Rockstar developers can shut down the heists through "tunables.json". The Independence Day DLC was also added - "script 'am_heist_int'. The gamer speculated that the codes were for the heists that will be featured in the game, which the developers are reportedly still working on at the moment.

Rockstar also stated, "Keep an eye out on the Rockstar Twitch channel this Friday at around 4pm for a run through of these new Jobs in a special Rockstar Verified Edition livestream hosted by your friend Swiftor featuring special guest players including TypicalGamer who's been known to enjoy previous Rockstar Verified releases. If you haven't already, head over to our Twitch page now to hit the follow button and get an email notification whenever we go live, or follow us on Twitter for all the latest updates. You can also watch the stream here on the Rockstar Newswire where we'll be embedding it for the duration of the broadcast."

In a report by Kpop Starz, Rockstar announced the new "I'm Not a Hipster" update which features a variety of new clothes, masks and character enhancements. These were intended to have gamers express themselves more creatively in the new game. Rockstar planned to shut down the game server in light of the new Heists launch.
