In light of Independence Day, the Nike LeBron 11 "Independence Day" will officially launch on July 3.

The new pair is among the last colorways of the LeBron 11 line, featuring the national colors red blue and white. The box actually reads, "White/University Red-Obsidian-Pure Platinum". The style code is 616175-164. The shoes will retail at $200.

In a report by Sneaker News, the LeBron 11 "Independence Day" will be a great addition for collectors who have been following Fourth of July release of Nike. The USA-inspired colorway is also available in the low-top version for casual users. The shoes are similar to other general release LeBron 11 models, with a hyperfuse upper. The obsidian appears on the upper material while the red can be seen on the laces, swoosh and tongue tags. The forefoot swoosh is obsidian, the armorposite is white and the outsole is gold. The shoes still feature the foamposite material within the shards as well as the solid shank on the bottom of the shoe.

The low-top version is somewhat a reverse of the high-top, featuring University Red upper hyperfuse material, obsidian heel counter and outer lining and a white swoosh. The low-top model features a 360-degree air max unit for maximum cushioning and comfort. The hyperfuse material ensures breathability while the armorposite provides durability to the pair for playing basketball. The low-tops retail for $175.

In a Fansided report, the LeBron XI was specifically made to withstand the power and strength of NBA superstar LeBron James. The shoes are ideal for versatile players who need to make quick cuts. The flywires stabilize the feet when players need to make sudden stops and cuts. Compared to its predecessor, the LBJ XI is leaner and closer to the ground, which also makes it ideal for guards. The full-length Nike Zoom Air Unit and Lunarlon midsole can be found on the high-top model, which cushions players well and provides protection against landings and impacts. Hyperfuse technology involves combing three layers of material, resulting to breathability and ultra-light support.

The LeBron James 11 "Independence Day" will be available at Nike outlets and designated sneaker clubs like Foot Locker, Finish Line and Champs. Internationally, selected retail and boutique stores will also be offering the new colorway in limited numbers. RSVPs can be made online by following Twitter accounts like @footlocker, @finishline and @complexsneakers. Raffles may be held by selected outlets for winners to get a chance to purchase the pair in their size.
