One of the most memorable moments of last year's San Diego Comic Con was Loki's surprise appearance - which is a quicker way of saying actor Tom Hiddleston came to the convention in all his Marvel comic character's finery and sinister persona. This, of course, delighted the fans to no end, showing that even in the flesh, Thor's half brother can still fascinate crowds and get their attention.

So, will he be back again to make his boastful threats this year? Cinema Blend had reported that actor Mark Ruffalo, who will be reprising his role as Bruce Banner/The Hulk in "The Avengers: Age of Ultron," confirmed that there are plans to bring the "Avengers" cast back to Hall H and "essentially recreate the experience from four years ago," when every single cast member of the first installment of the movie franchise was on hand to talk about the film.

This exciting possibility is not the only event to expect at the San Diego Comic Con 2014. The cast of "Arrow," "The Vampire Diaries," "Supernatural," "The Originals," "iZombie," and "The Flash" are reportedly appearing at the annual gathering later this month, according to Just Jared Jr. It's expected that these stars will be revealing never-before-heard tidbits about their respective series, as well as teasers about what to expect in the upcoming season of the shows.

Also, we might be seeing footage of the much talked-about "Batman vs Superman" movie during the 5-day event, Geek Shizzle speculated. "The film is busy shooting, and we see no reason why they couldn't make the entire floor of fans go crazy with showing us a brief 30 second teaser," the site said. Do you agree?

There's also a possibility that a teaser of the Deadpool movie may be shown during SDCC 2014. KDrama Stars reported that the film's teaser trailer will be revealed at some point during the conference. "But don't expect actual film footage from the Deadpool movie teaser as the filming for the movie hasn't even begun," the site warned. "Fans should expect the Deadpool movie teaser to be similar to the 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' teaser shown at last year's Comic Con where it was just 3D objects with a voice over ending with the logo of movie."

It's also possible that we'll get a sneak peek, even just a wee bit, of "Star Wars Episode VII" during the conference. "J.J.Abrams has been very generous in showing us some behind the scenes images and videos, and there's no reason why we can't expect to see more at Comic-Con!" Geek Shizzle observed.

Of course, there's DeviantArt's Artist's Alley, which is a gallery featuring works of some of the greatest illustrators and artists in the world. Then there are the many parties coming your way from July 23 to 27, so start earmarking the ones that you'll be attending.
