British actress Emma Watson, known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter saga, graduated from university with a degree in English Literature from Brown University, where she gathered on Sunday with around 2,000 students for the graduation ceremony in Providence, Rhode Island.

The young 24 year old actress also started her studies in Brown University in 2009, while also studying at Oxford University, without leaving her film career during which she acted in at least five Hollywood movies, with the last of them being "Noah".

Since her education is one of her greatest priorities, Emma feared that she would not be able to fulfill her film commitments and the demands of the University, and was forced to take a sabbatical year in 2011, but managed to finish her studies in five years, dealing with her personal demands to reach a good grade and the fame she has won for her good work in acting, according to E! Online.

"On the first day, I walked through the dining hall and everyone just stayed silent and turned to see me," said Watson in an interview with The Sunday Times in March. "I had to tell myself, 'it's alright, you can do it. You just have to breathe deep and be brave,'" she added.

Watson's fame after her role as Hermione Granger was, if not a problem, something Emma had to deal with during her time in the University.

"I wanted to pretend I'm not as famous as I am. I was trying to seek some normalcy, but I had to accept who I am, the position I am in and what has happened." However, with the passage of time, her fears disappeared and she was able to enjoy her time in university, managing to spend time with her campus friends as just another student.

"They never asked me for a single autograph on campus," she said, "I organized a party for almost 100 students and not one of them posted a picture to Facebook," she added.

It was through her Twitter account that Emma shared the moment of her graduation with her followers, posting a picture of herself wearing academic regalia, a gown and mortarboard cap, proud of having finished a personal project which filled her with satisfaction.
