Fresh photos of the alleged iPad Air 2 features and specs were leaked by a Dutch website called 'One More Thing.'

The leaked photos show front and back panels that are suggested to be that of the next generation iPad Air, reports Here Is The City. The front panel appeared to be an integrated display which makes it different from Apple's current model of the tablet. It further implies that the latest model could turn out to be even way thinner than the first generation Ipad Air.

iFixit founder Kyle Wiens attested that the leaked iPad Air 2 photos seem legit, basing it on the way that the Retina Macbook Pro's display was made, stated Macrumors.

It is also suggested that the iPad Air 2 features would most probably include a bigger battery that could offer a longer battery life. At the moment, the original iPad Air offers a ten-hour life on battery which is also a standard for other Apple devices like the iPod.

It is also thought of that the additional space seen on the leaked images of its new display technology can be utilized to make the next generation iPad not just thinner, but way lighter, Examiner writes.

While the speculated iPad Air 2 images seem to maintain similar dimensions, the display connectors of the new tablet are placed in different sections of the tablet. The integration of its LCD layer with the tablet's screen can also contribute to the improvement of its resolution while also making it a lot thinner this time around. There is also a high chance of Apple implementing the latest A8 processor to the upcoming iPad Air model.

Other iPad Air 2 features and specs in the rumor stage include an 8MP camera and even a new TouchID fingerprint scanner as explained by IBT. The iPad Air 2 release date is expected to happen during the latter part of 2014.
