Peaches Geldof. a British model, writer, TV host and daughter of Irish musician Sir Bob Geldof, died on Monday, April 5 at 25 for reasons still unknown, local media reported.
According to the BBC, British police arrived at the celebrity's residence, close to Wrotham, in Kent, southeast England on the morning of Monday after receiving an emergency call.
So far, the young woman's death is being treated as "unexplainable and sudden", since the officers who arrived at the residence did not find drugs, suicide note and "there are no visible signs of injury" at the scene, according to Hollywood Life.
This information contradicts the first rumors which spoke about an alleged drug overdose and, in fact, the forensic expert is exploring the possibility that the young host died of natural causes, according to the quoted source.
Shortly after Monday noon, Sir Bob Geldof, Peaches' father, emitted a press release to the media confirming the news. "Peaches has died. We are beyond pain," expressed the musician, reported the BBC.
"She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable?" he wrote.
The young celebrity is survived by her husband, musician Thomas Cohen, and her two daughters, Astala, 2, and Phaedra, 1.
"My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever," wrote Cohen, quoted by the BBC.
Mysterious Death
The mysterious circumstances in which Peaches Geldof died are reminiscent of her mother's story, TV host Paula Yates, who died in 2000 of a drug overdose.
Shortly before dying, Peaches shared various photographs and videos of her in the company of her daughters and husband.
