The seventh season of "The Voice" is welcoming a new voice coach on the show to replace CeeLo Green.

Pharrell will be stepping in to replace CeeLo Green who announced that he will not be coming back to the show in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres

"I don't want to wear out my welcome there," said Green, who has been on the show since 2011. "I have so many other things I want to do. I haven't released an album in four years. I'm almost done with an album."

Rumors of Pharell taking CeeLo Green's place on the NBC show have circulated online. In fact, NBC teased fans on March 31 on Twitter, saying "We have a feeling some of you have guessed it by now. If not... #NewVoiceCoach," along with a photo of the familiar chair with Pharrell's signature hat.

NBC then tweeted on April 1, "Okay, we can OFFICIALLY say it! WE ARE SO #HAPPY to announce PHARRELL WILLIAMS = #NewVoiceCoach for SEASON 7."

CeeLo Green is not the only coach who is leaving the show. "The Voice" is also reportedly replacing Christina Aguilera, reports Hollywood Life. The singer is currently pregnant with her second child, her first with fiancé Matt Rutler.

"They will have to replace Christina. She will be focused on her upcoming child and will not be able to focus on the demands that 'The Voice' puts on the judges," an unidentified source told Hollywood Life. "Voice" producers have said that no coach will be permanent on the show and that the tenure of coaches will depend on their respective schedules.

The producers have not yet announced Christina Aguilera's definite leave or announced her replacement, but both Green and Aguilera's seats are currently filled up by Shakira and Usher for "The Voice" Season 6, which kicked off Feb. 24.

Who do you think will replace Christina for the hit show's seventh run?
