Singer Shakira announced on Thursday the release of the video of the Spanish version of "Can't Remember to Forget You" - "Nunca Me Acuerdo de Olvidarte" - a song that in its English version is a duet with Rihanna.

Since its release in late January, the English version of the song received harsh criticism due to the high erotic content from both singers, and was banned in some regions of Colombia by the request of a council member in early February.

In the video in Spanish, Shakira isn't accompanied by Rihanna; however, the sensuality and eroticism of the English version isn't left behind.

In at least four different stages, Shakira seduces her audience with her characteristic hip movements, showing off her spectacular body which, without a doubt, will awaken emotions in thousands of fans.

After its release, "Can't Remember to Forget You" reached the highest level of popularity on iTunes downloads and was in the Top 10 in the United States and Canada.

The song was written by Shakira, Rihanna, John Hill, Tom Hull, Daniel Ledinsky and Erik Hassle.

Shakira's new album is expected to be released on March 25 to celebrate the Colombian singer's 37th birthday.

Through social networks, Shakira has shared moments from the preparation of her new album, which carries her name, and was accompanied by one of the men in her life: her son Milan Piqué.

The Colombian singer stayed away from the stage for most of 2013 to dedicate time to her son and her other half, footballer Gerard Piqué. The couple is considered to be one of the most solid in Latino media, and her love was reinforced by the arrival of their first son, who also joined the world of music as a little coach during Shakira's participation on The Voice 2013.
