Roma is among the top teams in the Italian League in 2013-14 and is looking to make a return to the Champions League in 2014-15. However, Napoli manager Rafa Benitez refuses to give Roma too much credit and claims that his team is still the superior side.

"Roma's advantage [over us] is only having one game a week, and it is an advantage that goes on for the whole season," Benitez said, according to Goal.com. "Having a week to prepare for each game makes it easier to correct any errors. We do not have the same opportunity to do so. I disagree with those who say that Rome are better [than Napoli] because they beat us twice.

"We can say that we deserved more out of both games. They are strong and have a good coach [Rudi Garcia], but we are also strong."

Napoli is coming off a 3-2 loss against Roma in the Italian Cup; however, the two road goals could prove to be huge for Benitez's team as the return leg will take place at home. A 1-0 win for Napoli at home would be enough to put them through to the next round.

Napoli currently sits in third place in the Italian League with 44 points; Roma has 50 and sits in second. At this rate it is unlikely that either club manages to catch first place Juventus for the top spot; the Old Lady has 59 points this year.

Do you agree with Benitez's comments? Is Napoli better than Roma?
