Following her departure from a rehabilitation facility in December, Amanda Bynes signed herself up for a week-long retreat at a health facility in Utah.

Austan Torson, the owner and personal trainer of Bynes at the Miracles Fitness Retreat, spoke to E! News, saying, "She was interested in getting healthier...to get in better shape, to lose about five pounds, but mainly to strengthen up and eat healthier."

The 27-year-old actress, who admitted to having an eating disorder and committed to a rehab facility for psychiatric evaluation last year, entered the Miracles Fitness Retreat last January 4 for a seven-day fitness session.

At first, Torson admitted the he was apprehensive about the actress' commitment. He revealed, "I was a little bit concerned in the beginning, I have to admit. And I told her that. We're working out six hours a day and for most of our clients it's hard to get up in the morning. And I was concerned she wouldn't get up, but she came to every workout class, every lecture, and every meal."

So what exactly did the "Easy A" actress do for seven days inside the facility? Well, like the other participants, she starts her day at around six in the morning with a healthy snack. This was followed by a 90-minute cardio workout which included kickboxing. She then eats a healthy breakfast after the workout before starting another 90-minute core-strengthening session such as yoga and pilates.

After eating lunch, Bynes joins the other participants in a series of counseling classes and instructional lectures that deal with body issues.

She then gets physical again in the afternoon with a two-hour workout which includes swimming, Zumba, racquetball, or spinning sessions. She ends the day with dinner and relaxing spa treatments.

But Bynes' road to self-improvement did not end when she checked out of the facility last January 12. Celebuzz reported that the actress enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles.

Also, rumors are circulating that Bynes could be the next Bond girl in the upcoming James Bond film. In an article on Media Mass, a source related to the film's production said, "The producers have tried to get Amanda before, but she has never been available because of her commitments. The discussions have been going on for some time and they are working out the contract details now"
