Is Disney looking to introduce trailers for "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Captain America 2" during the Super Bowl? According to a number of reports, the company is looking to showcase two of its huge films during the major sporting event.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Sources say Disney spots likely will promote the Aaron Paul actioner 'Need for Speed (opening March 14 from DreamWorks),' as well as Marvel's 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier(April 4)' and/or 'Guardians of the Galaxy (Aug. 1).'"

There has been no confirmation that this is in fact the case as revealing ad purchases is a trade secret. However, if this is in fact the case, then Disney is slated to pay a record $4.4 million for a 30-second spot.

Other major studios looking to promote their films during the big sporting event include Paramount, Sony and Lionsgate. Sony will air a spot for Michael Bay's hotly anticipated "Transformers: Age of Extinction," which hits theaters on June 27. Sony is expected to unveil yet another trailer for "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," which hits theaters on May 2, while Lionsgate will air a spot during the pregame of the movie "Draft Day," which will appear in theaters on April 11.

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" already has a trailer circulating around the Internet. "Guardians of the Galaxy" does not yet have a trailer, though the film was previewed during a credits sequence for "Thor: The Dark World."
