Last year was a success for Robin Thicke. Billboard reported that his single "Blurred Lines" topped the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for a record 16 weeks - "the longest reign atop the tally since Nielsen data began fueling the chart in December 1992."

Plus, his controversial appearance at the MTV VMAs last year added a further boost to his song's chart-topping run, not to mention more publicity for the recording artist.

Also, wife Paula Patton remained supportive of the singer's brow-raising moves, from featuring topless models on his music video to making that infamous grind with twerkaholic Miley Cyrus. Even a butt-groping scandal did not faze the actress. The couple continued to show a united front in the wake of the said news.

Could Robin duplicate his luck this year? It looks like he'll need more of it.

Early into 2014, he has already figured in yet another controversy that will rock his and Paula's boat anew.

The Daily Mail reported that the "Blurred Lines" crooner was seen "dirty dancing with a beautiful female fan at a Parisian nightclub." Aside from that, he and the mystery woman "were also spotted embracing." Uh-oh.

Not that Robin purposely went there for some extra action with a female on the dance floor.

The New York Daily News said that the artist performed Saturday at Club 79, a hotspot in Paris. After doing his set, he then joined the crowd to party. He was also said to be "photographed downing at least one drink and holding cigarette." The Daily Mail noted that he was wearing his "customary three-piece suit and sunglasses." However, he shrugged off his suit jacket and sunglasses when he hit the dance floor with the dark-skinned, fro-haired beauty.

Considering Paula is also a bronze-skinned beauty herself, Robin's mystery dance partner looked like she's just his type, too!

However, the British publication did admit that "there is no suggestion that anything improper occurred between Thicke and the woman."

What do you think, readers? Was this cozy-up something that Paula should worry about?
