When one searches for 'Jeremy Lin' on Google News, one of the first appearing search results is a link to a Forbes article with the following title and article summary:

Jeremy Lin Announces Retirement to Pursue...

The story of NBA phenom Jeremy Lin took a startling turn early this morning when the NBA star announced his retirement from professional basketball in the ...

After one clicks on the article however, the link's landing page is a missing article with the following information:

Something's gone awry! The page you requested could not be found.

It continues on saying:

Many of our URLs have changed during our latest redesign.

If you got here by typing a URL, please make sure the spelling, capitalization, and punctuation are correct, then try loading the URL again.

If you got here by clicking a link on a Forbes.com page, please send us an email telling us how you reached this page.

You may have to update your bookmarks to the new URLs. Hopefully you can find what you need in the sitemap below.

The url of the page reads: breaking-news-injured-jeremy-lin-announces-retirement-to-pursue-harvard-graduate-degree.

So, is Jeremy Lin retiring to pursue a Harvard Degree?

If this page had appeared on another day rather than April 1st, then it would've caused a bit more 'noise', in the 'media sphere' but since today is April fool's, let's just assume it is a creative way to gather traffic and clicks without getting into trouble?

Or is perhaps Jeremy Lin really retiring?

Jeremy Lin's twitter page makes no mention of retiring.

The last tweet Jlin7 made was, "Thx for all the love! Ill return from this surgery stronger/better than before and hopefully in time for the playoffs! Ecclesiastes 3:1&11".

So it is either Forbes' way of saying 'Happy April Fool's" or a very timely computer glitch coincidentally selecting the following key words: Jeremy, Lin, Injury, Retirement, Harvard, Degree.

You decide.
