Apple introduced the iPhone 5S and 5C just two months ago and now buzz surrounding the next version, iPhone 6, is making the rounds among tech fans and analysts alike.

One of the rumors involves the release date of the next iteration of one of the bestselling touch screen phones in recent history. Most pundits and observers agree that Apple will definitely release a new model in 2014 and that it's only a matter of when. Some speculate of a Fall 2014 release date, specifically end of September next year, which is around the usual time the tech giant releases its new offerings.

However, the bigger question involves the actual features that the new iPhone 6 would include. An exciting tidbit that may get Apple fans squirming with anticipation is that , according to a "person familiar with the plans," the Steve Jobs-founded company "is developing new iPhone designs including bigger screens with curved glass and enhanced sensors that can detect different levels of pressure," reports Bloomberg.

Not only that, it is said that the mobile gadget maker will be replicating what it has done this year by releasing two models in 2014 as well.

"With screens of 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches, the two new models would be Apple's largest iPhones and would approach in size the 5.7-inch Galaxy Note 3 that Samsung Electronics Co. debuted in September," Bloomberg reported.

The Wall Street Journal has also revealed similar details based on information relayed by "people familiar with the company's internal deliberations and plans." According to the publication's sources, "component suppliers say Apple already began testing larger screens for iPhones in recent months. Apple has been particularly interested in recent tests for a 4.8-inch screen."

As of this time, there has been no official word from Apple on next year's releases or of iPhone 6.
