The traditional Winter White Gala of England, celebrated on Tuesday at the Kensington Palace, was witness to one of the most emblematic moments of the night when Prince William got on the stage along with singer Taylor Swift and rocker Jon Bon Jovi to sing "Livin' on a Prayer".

According to the BBC, the charity gala was set up to raise funds for the Centrepoint Fund, an organization that provides support for homeless people.

The Duke of Cambridge surprised everyone present with his singing skills, when he sang "Livin' on a Prayer", one of Bon Jovi's most representative songs, with the two celebrities.

According to Rolling Stone magazine, during his performance at the Kensington Palace, the rock singer asked Elizabeth II's grandson to get on stage to sing together, and Prince William agreed under the condition that the American singer also helped him sing.

In the end, Taylor Swift, who was recently crowned the top winner of 2013's American Music Awards, also got up on the stage to complete the peculiar trio met with cheers.

After the memorable moment, Jon Bon Jovi took the opportunity to talk to the audience gathered there to support Centrepoint.

"Nights like these happen once in a lifetime. But the opportunity to make a change can last your entire life. Each of you has the opportunity to make a change tonight", said the rocker, according to Mexican newspaper Milenio.

England's Winter White Gala gave Bon Jovi an award for his work against poverty and his efforts to better the lives of homeless people.

Milenio highlights that Bon Jovi founded the Soul Foundation in 2006, an organization that supports the poorest Americans by giving them access to food, education and accessible housing.
