The match between the Oakland Raiders and the Tennessee Titans held on Sunday at the O.co Coliseum ended tragically after a woman jumped from the third floor of the stadium minutes before the game ended.

According to the first published by El Nuevo Herald, the woman jumped from the third floor of the stadium and injured a man that attempted to catch her.

After the incident, the woman, who has not been identified, and the man that was on the floor below were immediately taken to a hospital.

According to CBS Sports, the incident took place 15 minutes before the game ended, when the woman climbed to a restricted area and walked to the edge of the platform, above section 301 of the stadium.

When they noticed the woman, people close to the fence tried to convince her to get down; however, the woman ignored them and jumped from a height of almost 45 feet, injuring a man that tried to catch her, reported police Sergeant J.D. Nelson of Alameda County.

"Raiders fans sometimes have a bad reputation, but this guy did an incredible and heroic thing to try to save this woman's life. He did all he could, including putting himself at great risk. There's a lot of people that wouldn't do that and he did", Nelson said.

The woman was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition, and the man presented no injuries that threatened his life.

According to CBS, Sunday's incident at the Raiders' stadium happened a week after a Buffalo fan fell from a railing at the Ralph Wilson Stadium, injuring two people who were then hospitalized.
