While many are looking forward to the release of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, that doesn't mean the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 are out of steam quite yet. Prime example: the immensely popular Grand Theft Auto 5 will have new free DLC coming to the game's online mode on Nov. 19, giving players a host of new missions and items to play around with on their old consoles.

Rockstar confirmed the release date for the Beach Bum DLC to IGN as part of the 1.06 patch coming to the game on Nov. 19. This new DLC will give players many different missions, items, deathmatches, races, and other new content all based on the beaches found within the game. Players will be able to explore this new content and jobs as part of this new DLC with their crew and reap the rewards that fulfilling these tasks give the group.

The developer also gave a preview of some of the different missions that will be included in the Beach Bum DLC. One mission is the Grass Route 2 race, which will take players along the north bank of the Zancudo river all the way to the beach found in North Chumash. A new bicycle race is also added to the game called the Sundae Driving race, which will travel all over Vespucci Beach. To potentially help players with new races, four different vehicles come with the content, which can be used offline and online. The BF Bifta dune buggy, Canis Kalahari off-road truck and Bravado Paradise beach camper can all be accessed through the in-game phone, while the Speeder speedboat can be found in the game's marina.

For those looking for new action-oriented content, players will find new deathmatches such as Survival on Del Perro Pier, which will have crews face off against several waves of enemies by the Ferris wheel. Players can also partake in a deathmatch in Paleto Beach, where 4-8 people can fight it out for supremacy on the sand. Two new weapons will also be added. The Ammu-Nation stores will begin selling the SNS pistol, as well as broken bottles for use as melee weapons. No word if users can use bottles as weapons and then break then to make broken bottles, or if they are only available as store bought weapons. In single player these new weapons will automatically be added to the inventory of the three playable characters.
