It might not be the latest and greatest, but HTC One SV owners will be pleased to know that a new upgrade containing Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Sense 5.0 is now rolling out.

The update weighs in at a hefty 430MB and will bump up the One SV's software version to 3.11.401.1. It's currently available over the air, although not everybody will receive it at the same time, and those who can snag it would do best to have the device charged and tethered to Wi-Fi.

Android 4.2.2 and Sense 5 should be a welcome upgrade for a device that's been stuck on Android 4.1 and Sense 4. While Android 4.2.2 isn't much a difference from Android 4.1, HTC One SV users will finally have access to new Sense features such as BlinkFeed and Video Highlights.

Sadly, owners of the U.S. non-LTE One SV variant, the One S on T-Mobile, are still in the dark. After a number of back-and-forth statements, it seems that HTC has stopped support for the device, with no major upgrade looming over the horizon. It's hard to tell if the OEM will release an update for the phone, although most major money says don't count on it.
