Halloween is only a few days away, but the ghouls that roam the streets during the annual creepfest should be the least of your worries. There are monsters far more terrifying than anything Halloween. There are monsters that will stop at nothing to tear your flesh from your warm bones. Human remains drip from theor rotten teeth, blood stains their ragged clothes and their putrid smell alone is enough to kill you. What’s worse, they’re already here. They arrived weeks before Halloween and won’t be leaving anytime soon. So prepare yourselves for the never ending onslaught of zombies as Season 4 of “The Walking Dead” rolls out.

On last night’s episode, Rick solved the mystery surrounding Karen and David’s death. It was Carol who set them ablaze. She did it to stop the spread of the flu and she chose not to admit to it right away, but it’s still unclear as to how she incinerated them. Although nothing is for certain, various clues hint that she burned them alive.

This does not bode well with Tyreese. He’s absolutely livid with Carol’s behavior and will stop at nothing to bring her to justice. He even criticizes Rick for being more concerned with collecting water than outing a ‘validated’ murderer amongst the prison residents. Although the two came to an understanding, as the virus grows and the zombie threat lingers, tensions will build inside the prison walls and relationships will be stretched thin, especially between two leader-like figures such as Rick and Tyreese. As the season progresses, their opposing views could be detrimental and could lead to some very uncomfortable and jeopardizing situations for the entire group.

“The Walking Dead” airs Sundays on AMC.
