Destiny, the newest game from the creators of the Halo series, Bungie, is one of the select games almost universally anticipated by gamers. The game is expected to build upon Bungie's years of hard work pushing the boundaries of gaming and should usher in a brand new gaming experience for both current and next-gen consoles. Bungie's Head of Art Dave Dunn recently answered fan questions on IGN about the game and revealed more about Destiny's gameplay, even though Bungie has not revealed a release date for the game yet.

Asked if more than the three classes that have already been shown (Hunter, Titan, and Warlock) will be in the game, Dunn answered no, but said the three classes will be highly customizable:

"Our artists and designers put a ton of thought into creating three satisfying combat archetypes that all feel really unique and special. One cool thing about each class is that they can be further tweaked and customized through weapons and gear you collect, and something we've not talked about yet, builds. More on that later."

When asked about the scale of the worlds players can explore, Dunn stated that the worlds of the game, which will be planets found in the solar system, will be very expansive and feature many different areas:

"We want players to be able to explore every area of the gorgeous destinations our amazing art team have built, and they each are pretty huge and feature a lot of variety. Between the story sections, public spaces and Strikes there will be plenty of terrain to cover, on foot or on your own personal vehicle."

However, Dunn refused to say if every planet in the solar system would be available in the game. However, previous locations confirmed for Destiny (Earth, the Moon, Venus, and Mars) will of course be available, he said.

Finally, Dunn revealed that Destiny will not force gamers to play cooperatively with strangers, but will allow users to play with large groups of friends or even by themselves if they want:

"You can absolutely play Destiny alongside a Fireteam of two of your closest friends, and we'll certainly have party systems tailored for specific activities, like competitive multiplayer or raids. We would never force a player to group up with people they didn't want to play with and if you want to go lone wolf and play through the cinematic story campaign by yourself you can do that as well."
