On the next episode of CBS lawyer-drama "The Good Wife," the firm gets itself in hot water. But things heat up even more on the anticipated October 27 episode when secrets are revealed and tempers flare.

TVLine reports that the October 27 episode, aptly titled "Hitting The Fan," is a non-stop drama-fest, featuring heated arguments, sex, flip-flopping alliances and back-stabbing. And by episode's end, they report that Alicia (Julianna Margulies) will be "reborn" in an interesting way.

Also, Kalinda (Archie Panjabi)--whose anticipated love interest was cut from the show due to scheduling conflicts-- may be getting another lady to take her place. In episode 100, the recurring character of Jenna will be introduced. Jenna is a no-nonsense, yet funny police detective who is comfortable with herself. TVLine hints that she does not mind mixing the professional with the personal, meaning she could strike up a relationship with Kalinda.

On last Sunday's episode, titled "A Precious Commodity," Alicia (Julianna Margulies) works on a case in which a couple is having a child via a surrogate, but the baby has an ailment that guarantees that it will die a few days after its birth. The couple fires Alicia for not forcing the surrogate to terminate the ill-fated pregnancy.

Later, Alicia goes to a secret meeting with her new firm to discuss leaving Lockart/Gardner, which they decide will be in two weeks.

Will also holds a meeting to compose an attractive exit package for Diane to entice her to leave the firm. Diane rejects the package, so Will asks Alicia if she would like to take Diane's place. Alicia decides to consider the offer, to Cary's (Matt Czuchry) chagrin. Nevertheless, after seeing how Will dealt with Diane, Alicia tells Cary that if they still want to strike out on their own with a new firm, they have to do it very soon.

On the next episode, "Outside the Bubble," the firm is being sued for being a hostile workplace. There will also be a great deal of contentious office politics as Diane's Supreme Court Candidacy puts her at odds with Will.

The promo also shows a sneak preview of the anticipated October 27 episode, which is being called the "episode that will change everything." In the preview, Will is seen knocking everything off Alicia's desk in a rage. He then sternly says, "Get out of here, Alicia."

Watch "Outside the Bubble" on Sunday, October 20 at 9 p.m. on CBS.
