Apple's tablets might have a new mobile carrier to call home in the form of America's fourth-largest operator: T-Mobile.

In a tweet sent by T-Mobile CEO John Legere, ten words triggered speculation that Apple's iPad could arrive to his company soon.

The tweet was linked to a report about Apple's confirmed Oct. 22 event.

Legere's tweet read, "What has two thumbs and is excited for October 22? #thisguy."

The T-Mobile CEO previously stated in August how he looks forward to introducing more Apple products to the carrier during an interview with AllThingsD.

"I think there's a whole array of Apple products that we look forward to carrying," said Legere last August. "We will expand what we offer from them."

T-Mobile first started to sell Apple products earlier this year with the introduction of the iPhone 5 in April. The addition of the Apple smartphone came as the carrier started to renovate itself by eliminating contracts and introducing 4G LTE to millions of markets in the U.S.

As Latinos Post reported, Apple has sent out media initiations for an Oct. 22 event. While the invitation was scarce about details, it has been largely speculated to be the launching pad for the second-generation iPad mini and the iPad 5.

Apple has been facing tougher tablet competition as its market share is down considerably when comparing the second quarter of 2013 to the same period last year. Latinos Post noted, based on the International Data Corporation's (IDC) figures, Apple finished the second quarter this year with 32.4 percent of the market share, which is down from 2012's 60.3 percent.
