On future episodes of "The Mindy Project," Danny will throw his hat back into the relationship ring.

According to TVGuide, Danny (Chris Messina) will pay the field again now that he is split from Christina (Chloe Sevigny). But viewers have not seen the last of Danny's ex.

"Danny is excited to get back out there," writer and star Ike Barinholtz told TVGuide. "He goes a little slow at first because I think he's a little beaten up." But right when he thinks he's fully recovered, she'll show up again. "We have not seen the last of Christina," Barinholtz said. "She will come back ... to kind of torture him one final time."

The most recent episode of "The Mindy Project," called "Music Festival," focused on Casey (Anders Holm) leaving the church to become a D.J.

Casey becomes intensely focused on his music career--so much so that he almost sets Mindy's kitchen on fire. Casey then books a job at a music festival, and she gets her co-workers to go support him in his new endeavor. Yet when they get to the music festival, they realize that it's not what it's cracked up to be, and as Casey finds out, neither is being a D.J.

Morgan (Ike Barinholtz) accidentally takes drugs via a cupcake, and the gang watches as Morgan jumps into a pool that only he can see. They rush him out of the festival to get him medical attention.

After performing at the festival, Casey decided he no longer wants to D.J. Instead, he says he wants to move to Texas to study event planning. Fed up with the constant changes, Mindy tells Casey that she can't keep changing her life whenever he feels like doing something on a whim. They agree to break up, and and she hands back the engagement ring.

Meanwhile, Jeremy (Ed Weeks) is impressed when Peter, the bro-ish new doctor played by Adam Pally ("Happy Endings"), helps him calm down a patient's husband. Jeremy decides to put outward impressions aside and ask Peter to come work at the office on a trial basis.

The next episode is called "Magic Morgan." The synopsis for the next episode is as follows:

"One mistake with Morgan could lead Mindy to a lifetime of happiness on an all-new 'The Mindy Project.'"

According to Morgan, anybody who sleeps with him will find the love of their life immediately afterwards. Mindy is curious to test this theory, so she takes Morgan up on his offer. Yet, Mindy backs out at the last minute, which humiliates Morgan and makes him want to sue Mindy for sexual harassment. In order to get back in his good graces, Mindy makes him an offer that he really can't refuse.

"The Mindy Project" airs Tuesdays at 9:30 on Fox.
