The second episode of the tenth season of "Grey's Anatomy," called "Everybody's Crying Mercy," will see Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) adjusting to taking care of a newborn. But back at the hospital, life is much more complicated.

ABC's synopsis for the episode reads, "Meredith and Derek adjust to life at home with a newborn but find it difficulty being away from the hospital; Arizona tries to takes steps to fix her broken marriage; Alex and Jo navigate through their new relationship; and Owen clashes with Jackson over financial issues at the hospital. Meanwhile, April anxiously awaits her boards results."

Two episodes later, the show will air its landmark 200th episode. The episode, called "Puttin' on the Ritz," will have an aptly celebratory theme, with the doctors hosting a fundraising gala to raise money for the ailing hospital.

The synopsis for "Puttin' on the Ritz" reads:  "The doctors of Grey Sloan Memorial throw a fundraising gala which turns wildly competitive after Jackson makes a rash promise. Back at the hospital, Bailey's patience is tested when she has to deal with several extremely difficult patients. Meanwhile, Shane and Stephanie handle an incredibly busy ER by themselves and Alex reveals an emotional secret to Jo on a very special 200th episode of 'Grey's Anatomy.'"

The cast of "Grey's" held a party in Los Angeles this past Saturday night to celebrate the 200th episode. The cast members revealed some information about the episode to Entertainment Weekly

Jessica Capshaw said that the episode will actually have a humorous element to it. "The storyline actually takes an interesting and unexpected turn in the 200th episode for Arizona, and I think it's going to be funny," Capshaw said.

While "Grey's" usually doesn't do funny parties, showrunner Shonda Rhimes said that this one will be different. "I think we really wanted to play the joy of the medicine and the joy of our character's journeys," Rhimes said. "And really, it's the first episode that Meredith Grey has really come back to work [after giving birth]. So we wanted to play some of the joy of that as well."

Executive producer Betsy Beers said that the party will be one to remember. "I'm just going to say, if you're going to a fancy party on "Grey's," you better watch yourself because you never know what's going to happen," Beers said. "There are some interesting combinations of people who are going to start to get together and get a little closer and it's a really, really different kind of party. You haven't seen a party like this before."

April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) may also rekindle their relationship on the 200th episode, or possibly afterwards.  "I think they will find their way back to one another. I don't know in what capacity that will be, but I think they are meant to be together in each other's lives in a very, very important way, for sure," Drew said.

Rhimes would not say if April's wedding will go on. "They don't always turn out to be the way you want them to, but we might be getting a wedding," Rhimes said.

Even though Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) slept together in the season premiere, Oh and McKidd both confirmed that the breakup will continue. "Now there's a resigned acceptance of the fact that they want different things," Oh said. "[The next few episodes will] grow them through that in a mature way - even though they're still hooking up."

"She keeps pushing him to move on, so I think he's going to try to move on," McKidd said. "How successful he is in doing that is yet to be seen. I think, personally, he's going to have a hard time. She's so his heartbeat. She's just his ... I hate to say the yin to his yang, but there's truth in that. He's finding it hard to let her go."

Also, Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Ben (Jason George) will reunite, but it won't be a very happy reunion. "You may be the perfect couple, but once you get into a situation where you're in a long-distance [relationship], sustaining that is hard," George said. "It's a lot of wear and tear on the body and the relationship...It wears things out."

As for Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona's (Jessica Capshaw) troubled relationship, things will continue to be rocky for awhile.

"The circumstances they've been dealt this season are devastating and there's really no way around that," Capshaw said. "So I think the best thing I can say is that they're going to deal with it on a very human and honest level."

"You just have to hang in there and see how it all plays out," Ramirez said.

"Grey's Anatomy" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on ABC.
