A new character is joining the cast of back-stabbing socialites on ABC's "Revenge."

"Ugly Betty" vet Anna Ortiz is guest starring on season three of the soapy drama, TVLine confirms. Ortiz will play the role of Bizzy Preston, an extremely confident public relations guru who Conrad (Henry Czerny) brings in to put out good P.R. for the Graysons. As of now, Ortiz is slated to guest star in one episode.

Ortiz is currently starring on the renewed Lifetime show "Devious Maids."

Before Ortiz makes her debut, the new season will open on Sunday night with an ominous flash forward to Emily's wedding day. The scene shows Emily (Emily VanCamp) in a wedding dress getting ostensibly shot in the stomach, then falling off a boat. The season premiere will backtrack from the shocking fast-forward by rewinding to the previous Memorial Day weekend, which is months after the second season's finale.

The first episode will also feature Victoria's (Madeleine Stowe) inappropriate relationship with her estranged son, Patrick (Justin Hartley). Daniel (Joshua Bowman) will also find a new love interest in Margaux (newcomer Karine Vanasse).

A major character will be diagnosed with a life-threatening ailment in the season opener, and Emily will also pay back Nolan (Gabriel Mann) for his huge favor to her. Jack (Nick Wechsler) will also share a scene with Emily in which two big twists are revealed. Emily will then enlist another character's help to get rid of Ashley Davenport (Ashley Madekwe).

It will also be revealed that a major character has switched allegiances.

The third season will also include a housewarming (or boatwarming) party that Nolan (Gabriel Mann) throws, which will feature the who's who of Hamptons society. Everything will go swimmingly until "an unexpected guest" makes an appearance, according to the official synopsis.

New photos of the episode hint that the party crasher may be Aiden (Barry Sloane). The photos show that Emily is certainly not happy to see him.

The third season of "Revenge" premieres Sunday, September 29 on ABC.
