As the release date for the HTC One Max approaches, we now have yet another leak about the device, this time revealing many features found on the One Max's camera, as well as confirming once again that the phablet will have a fingerprint scanner.

The information comes in the form of a report on the One Max, as well as a new set of photos, all provided by an alleged tester, who sent the leak to Weibo, which was then translated by Techradar.

The main focus of the leak and photos is the HTC One Max's camera. If the leak is accurate, the phablet will have some interesting features, one of which is the so-called "beauty mode." This mode is like an automatic Photoshop feature, which will feature three levels of blemish correction for those concerned about their looks.

The camera settings for the HTC One Max will also feature a panorama mode, according to the leaks. Considering the power of the device's camera, these features will be a welcome addition to the smartphone. The camera attached to the device has been rumored to be a 2-Ultrapixel camera, which would place the HTC One Max in a different class compared to other camera-focused devices like the Sony Xperia Z1.

In addition to these camera settings for photographs, new features about the video recording capabilities of the HTC One Max have also emerged. Users will allegedly be able to use HDR video recording, according to the screenshots, which could be a huge boost for those hoping to use the massive display for the device to video chat and share their lives with friends.

The other big non-camera feature shown in this update is the fingerprint scanner, which has sporadically appeared in photo leaks for the HTC One Max.

By all accounts, the feature seems to be the latest trend in smartphones, as the recently launched Apple iPhone 5s has a fingerprint scanner as well. The leak noted that the fingerprint scanner for the HTC One Max works very well, with "no awkward situation" trying to unlock the phone, according to the unnamed person who leaked the information.

The HTC One Max does not currently have a release date, and HTC has yet to even officially reveal the device and confirm the variety of specs and features.
