Fox’s new drama “Sleepy Hollow” just premiered last week and it is already beefing up its cast. Last week, the ghoulish drama added two actors to its guest cast, TVLine reported.

“True Blood” actor James Frain nabbed a guest spot earlier last week for a multi-episode arc as Rutledge. According to TVLine, Rutledge is described as “a modern-day nobleman who will interrogate Ichabod, who is being passed off as a ‘visiting Oxford professor,’ about his past.” TVLine added that Frain’s character will hold a secret that could affect Ichabod’s (Tom Mison) future.

TVLine also confirmed that “Fringe” actor John Noble would be joining “Sleepy Hollow” for a recurring role in the freshmen run. Noble will portray Henry Parrish, who is described as “a reclusive man who possesses supernatural powers that have the potential to help Ichabod Crane.”

“Sleepy Hollow” premiered to a great start. The show, which followed the “Bones” Season 9 premiere last Monday, gave Fox its best fall drama debut in seven years. According to TVLine, the show scored a 3.5 demo rating with 10.1 million in its audience.

The show, which is based in the modern day town of Sleepy Hollow, unites a resurrected Ichabod Crane with police officer Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) as they fight against the return of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. “Sleepy Hollow” returns for it’s second episode, called “Blood Moon,” tonight following the newest episode of “Bones.” A preview for the upcoming episode shows ghoulish monsters, witches and unexplained phenomenon. “Sleepy Hollow” airs on Mondays at 9 p.m. on Fox.
