The staff of Grey Sloan Memorial are in for one tumultuous, stormy night. The two-hour season premiere of "Grey's Anatomy" will feature the staff facing troubles inside the hospital as torrential rain wreaks havoc outside.

Heather (Tina Majorino) will be facing some serious problems in the upcoming season 10 premiere, TVGuide reports. After Bailey (Chandra Wilson) asks Shane (Gaius Charles) to help her find Dr. Webber (James Pickens Jr.), Shane lies to Heather that she was the one tasked with seeking out Webber's whereabouts.

Heather then goes down the flooded basement, where she finds Webber lying on the ground unconscious. Without thinking, Heather goes in to help Webber, and ends up getting electrocuted.

A short sneak preview for the opener showed Dr. Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) announcing someone's time of death. Could it be Heather? Or is it Webber, who was electrocuted during last season's finale? Fans can only speculate, and a new sneak preview will only increase the fan theories.

In the newest sneak preview, the ailing Webber narrates the premiere. The preview also shows Callie (Sara Ramierz) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) after their heated argument, as well as the aftermath of April's (Sarah Drew) ultimatum to Jackson (Jesse Williams).

Although there are not many lighthearted moments in the opener, one small glimmer of light is when Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) are shown with their new baby, Bailey.

One "Grey's Anatomy" character will also have more than just the storm to contend with next season. Alex's (Justin Chambers) estranged dad will be paying him a visit in the upcoming season, who will be played by "Dexter" actor James Remar. According to TVGuide, it's not very surprising that his father is estranged. Alex's father illuminates why Alex's family has had their share of troubles, such as when Alex's brother tried to kill their younger sister.

James Remar shared an inside scoop with TVGuide about his "Grey's" character. "He's not a guy who's been living a very wholesome life," Remar said. "He's a drug addict and really on the skids. Their reunion is charged and difficult."

Remar will be introduced as Alex's father for a brief arc early on in season 10.
